&senarioText=Scenario:
You are a squad leader in a support platoon. It is currently 1800 on the 30th of April. Your platoon leader has just informed you that your squad is going to conduct a tactical movement to transport an infantry company 10 kilometers to the company’s training area at 0200 the next morning. This will give you sufficient time to plan the tactical movement since your squad has been assigned to haul troops in support of an infantry battalion for the last 30 days. Your squad has been conducting continuous operations, and each soldier has had an average of 4 hours of sleep in the last 24 hours. Your convoy will be the only convoy on the road network at this time. Tonight’s weather forecast calls for thunderstorms with heavy rain and high winds possible. The roads you will be traveling on are graveled and well maintained. Your squad is at full strength with all licensed drivers. Out of the 10 drivers, four have been qualified for one year at driving with NVG’s. The other six drivers were qualified 30 days ago. Your platoon leader has asked you to start a risk assessment worksheet for this mission. You are to complete column F by identifying the hazards, complete column G by determining the level of risk for each hazard using the risk assessment matrix, and complete block K by determining the initial overall level of risk on the Risk Management Worksheet. Click on this box to return to the exercise.&
